Foxes so far

Posted on: Mon 22 Oct 2007

Leicester City have had an action-packed start to this campaign, although they have endured some difficult times to date.

The Foxes got their first league victory of the season, with the 4-1 demolition of current Championship leaders Watford at the Walkers Stadium in late August.

City then defeated Aston Villa in the fourth round of the Carling Cup, after overcoming Nottingham Forest in the previous round - a game which will be remembered for the problems endured by on-loan defender Clive Clarke at half-time, which saw the game abandoned.

Of late Leicester have become the division's draw specialists, although Gary Megson's side did manage a 2-0 victory at Hillsborough in early October.

The main threat to the Blades defence will come from DJ Campbell, who is top scorer with two league goals, in a team which has only scored 10 times in the Championship this year.
