Jordan Stewart says the Blades are remaining optimistic about their promotion aspirations, despite back-to-back away defeats in the last seven days.

Stewart, who was restored to the starting line-up at Peterborough, says the players must improve on recent performances but believes a top-six finish is still very much in reach:

"We are still confident of getting into the play-off places and we have the ability in the squad to make that possible. Importantly we have the experience here of winning promotions so it isn't new to us.

"It is down to the players and we demand a lot from each other. We are an open bunch and have a great skipper in Chris Morgan, he asks a lot from us and the management is always trying to get the best from us as a group."

Looking ahead to the weekend, Stewart knows only three points is acceptable and he is urging the Blades to right the wrongs of their recent travel problems:
"Saturday is a must-win; obviously Neil Warnock will be coming back to the Lane which will add a bit of spice to the game. We must be positive and make sure we get the right result.

"Our home form has been pretty solid and we must maintain that until the end of the season. First and foremost we must keep clean sheets; we have the quality going forward, although it hasn't happened in the last few matches."
