Skipper Chris Morgan returned to action against Plymouth Argyle last Saturday and is hoping the Blades can steer clear of injuries problems as the season enters the final furlong.
Morgan returned quicker than expected from the rib injury he sustained at Watford in February and says nothing can beat the feeling of playing matches:
"The extra week's training I managed to get in because of the Peterborough postponement worked out really well for me personally, although I would have played anyway.
"To be honest I have always been quite lucky with injuries and the longest I have been out was when I broke my arm against Rotherham in my second season here. I get bored easily when I am on the sidelines and although the physios keep you going, there is nothing better than feeling fully fit and getting back into the thick of the action."
United's charismatic leader is now hoping the Blades can keep some kind of continuity within the team, following several injury problems and believes it is especially crucial at the back:
"Entering the business end of the season, we are confident of finishing the season strongly and that will be helped by keeping everyone fit.
"We have had plenty of changes all season in every position, but defensively we now have quite a settled unit and that is crucial.
"Nyron and Toni are experienced pros and there is only really Kyle who isn't, but he has all the attributes to be a top defender and more importantly he is willing to listen and learn.
"Last season we had the same back five for the majority of the campaign and that makes life so much easier because you know their games inside out.
"This time around we have had to work even harder on the training pitch and make that time count as we need to get a good understanding and learn off each instantly."
