Chris Morgan was full of praise for both the Blades and Plymouth after Saturday's seven-goal thriller at the Lane ended in United's favour.
Morgan felt the Blades were guilty of resting on the laurels in the second-half, but felt the Pilgrims demonstrated the kind of belief that will be vital given the precarious position:
"It was a cracking game in the end and it was always going to be end-to-end. They are fighting to stay up and we are pushing for the top six, but we should have seen the game out better.
"I don't like conceding goals - like all defenders - and when you are three up it shouldn't happen, but credit where it is due to Plymouth. They made a couple of changes, it perked them up and caused us problems.
"The main thing at this stage of the season, though, is three points and in the end we managed to hang on which is pleasing."
United's skipper again led by example which drew some praise from the Argyle boss, but he was keen to deflect the attention on to the impressive Kyle Bartley, before instantly switching his focus to next week's trip to Selhurst Park:
"Paul Mariner spoke to me in the tunnel after the game and was very complimentary towards me. It is always nice to have good things said about you, which isn't normally the case with me.
"Kyle seems to be very level headed with a willing to learn and he has all the key attributes to be a good centre-half, which he is showing at the moment.
"It is always difficult going to Palace as we saw at the end of last season. They have been drawn into a fight after going into administration, but they have some good players and we know it will be a tough game."
