Glen Little says he has a dual role with the Blades, combining his playing duties with ruling the roost in the dressing-room.
A seasoned pro at Reading, Burnley and more recently Portsmouth, Little brought a wealth of experience to the Bramall Lane ranks when he initially joined on trial during the summer.
Since then 'Blakey' has fast become the focal point of the dressing-room banter, and feels his experience will be invaluable in what is a relatively young squad that Kevin Blackwell has at his disposal:
"It takes me about two minutes to settle in somewhere and here I was running the show after about a minute and a half!
"There is a great bunch of lads here. I knew Darius from Reading and I have played against the likes of 'Monty' and 'Morgs' many times over the years.
"As soon as I arrived we went away for a couple of pre-season trips and that helps tremendously, and you feel a real part of the squad.
"Sam said in the summer we were a quiet dressing-room and I said I would sort that out. I thought there was more experience, but I think there is only me, 'Morgs' and Gaz Naysmith over 30 years old from the outfield players.
"Benno, too, is always about the place and we have to talk to the young players and try and help them out."
