With news filtering through of incessant rain in South Yorkshire, Chris Morgan sees the benefit of working out in Hungary this weekend.
The Blades skipper and his team-mates are currently on a four-day training camp in Budapest as preparations for the new Championship season hot up.
"With it raining so hard back home our training sessions could have been wash outs so it can be classed as a bonus being out here," Morgan told sufc.co.uk. "We've been to Hungary a couple of times before, the facilities are good and we can fully concentrate on getting fit.
"It's warm but it's not a case of just getting a bit of sun on our backs. We arrived on Thursday evening, trained twice on Friday and once on Saturday morning, ahead of the tournament.
"We will also do a work-out on Sunday morning before we arrive back in the UK."
Morgan adds: "When it's raining back home it's difficult to be out on the training pitch for two hours or more. Everyone is getting soaked and it's hard to concentrate and carry out the drills so being out here is like having a couple of extra days of working hard."
The Blades will play sister club Ferencvaros and Hungarian outfit Zalaegerszegi on Saturday. The teams will play each other once in 45-minute fixtures, kicking off at 4pm (local time).
Captain Morgan adds: "Of course we know plenty about Ferencvaros and they are on a bit of a high after clinching promotion a couple of weeks ago but we don't know much about the other side.
"It is another chance to boost our match fitness, the result is not the be all and end all but we go out to try and win every game."
