Skipper Gary

Defender Gary Naysmith completed 90 minutes and finished the game as captain as Scotland drew a stalemate with ten-man Northern Ireland at Hampden Park on Wednesday.

Scotland were indebted to substitute goalkeeper Allan McGregor, who saved a second-half David Healy penalty, after he had brought down Warren Feeney, before Irish debutant Ryan McGivern was sent-off after picking up two yellow cards.

Meanwhile, David Cotterill was an unused substitute as Wales lost 2-1 against Georgia at the Liberty Stadium. Wigan's Jason Koumas opened the scoring for the Welsh, but two defensive blunders robbed them of victory.

Cotterill was moved up to the senior squad from the under 21s ahead of the game.
