Ex Fradi boss nets new job

Posted on: Mon 07 Jun 2010

Former Ferencvaros boss Craig Short has been appointed the new manager of League One newcomers Notts County.

Short, 41, is a former County and Blades defender and has taken over from Steve Cotterill at Meadow Lane.

Along with former Blades Academy Director Ron Reid, Short guided Ferencvaros to mid-table safety in the Hungarian top flight last season after an impressive second half to the campaign.

Short was been forced to relinquish his position as head coach at United's sister club, Fradi, due to new Hungarian FA Club Licence regulations set for next season.
