Loans round-up

Posted on: Mon 01 Dec 2008

It was a bad weekend for United's five players currently out on-loan, with nobody registering a victory and one being sent-off!

Keith Gillespie played 81 minutes as Charlton drew 0-0 against Southampton at The Valley, for whom Jordan Robertson played the first-half, before being replaced at the interval in a tactical switch.

In the FA Cup, Nicky Law was in action as Bradford missed out on a potential home tie against the Blades, after losing 2-1 at Valley Parade against Leyton Orient, although ex-Blade Michael Boulding did get the Bantams goal.

Kyle Walker continued his development at Northampton, but Town lost 2-1 at the Sixfields Stadium to an improving Colchester United side in League One.

Meanwhile, Maxime Chanot was red-carded for the second time during his loan spell at Mansfield, but the Stags did hold on to secure a 1-1 at Weymouth.
