Curtis Woodhouse preserved his 100% professional boxing record and recorded his tenth straight win in the Platinum Suite at Bramall Lane on Sunday night.

Mansfield's Matt Scriven was a hugely aggressive and determined opponent but the ex Blade delivered a higher ratio and quality of shot and clearly won every round of the welterweight clash.

Woodhouse's trainer Dave Coldwell said afterwards that his fighter had had to deliver his best all-round performance so far and had shown his improving boxing ability instead of engaging in a slugfest which would have suited his opponent.
