Kevin Blackwell and the Sheffield United squad were in demand as they attended a Blades Charity Evening during the pre-season tour of Malta.
The event was supported by Sheffield band Craine and Maltese singing sensation Ira Losco, the island's best selling artist for three consecutive years.
The prestigious event was hosted at the Grand Excelsior Hotel Yacht Club in aid of the Inspire Foundation, a new Maltese charity working in the disability sector. The foundation currently supports more than 1,000 children and adults with learning and physical disabilities.
Guests enjoyed the opportunity to get autographs from the United squad, as well as soaking up the vibrant atmosphere and the breathtaking views of the island from the Yacht Club, located on the doorstep of the city of Valletta.
The harbour setting provided a perfect backdrop for Ira Losco and popular Sheffield band Craine to stage a memorable live performance in support of the Inspire Foundation.
Earlier in the week, the Malta Junior Blades hosted an Inspire Foundation Charity Party at the Splash and Fun water park. Tonight, two disabled children will represent the charity as the official mascots for the game between Sheffield United and Maltese Premier League club Floriana.
Sheffield United Executive Director Mike Farnan said: "We hope the Blades Charity events will help raise awareness of what a fantastic job the Inspire Foundation has achieved in such a short period, while also ensuring more disabled children and adults from the island can benefit from the charity's work."
