Morgs has them shipshape

Posted on: Fri 10 Jul 2009

United players attended a Blades Charity Evening on Thursday before leaving early to continue their training sessions at the Hibernians' Stadium in Malta.

The party sailed across the bay - ironically in a boat called Captain Morgan - to the event which was for competition winners, travelling fans and the Maltese media and is part of the burgeoning relationship between the club and the island.

Brian Deane is with the party in an ambassadorial role and he, the players, and Kevin Blackwell mingled with the fans to chat and sign autographs.

A giant Blades flag which has the words You Fill Up My Senses has been on display in Malta for several weeks and hundreds of people have added their names to it - Kevin Blackwell became the latest.

The flag will shortly be taken back to Sheffield for unveiling in time for the new season.
