BladesPlayer has enlisted the help of Chris Morgan to review the 2009/10 campaign.

Morgs will analyse the campaign month-by-month, remembering both the low and highlights in his own inimitable style, complete with South Yorkshire twang.

On a personal note, the United skipper contributed two goals in his 40 starts, taking his career tally to 270 appearances in a Blades shirt after his free transfer from Barnsley in the summer of 2003.

To kick-off the series, Morgs looks back to pre-season last summer when Kevin Blackwell was assembling his squad for another tilt at the Championship.
