Football Association Chief Executive Ian Watmore and BBC presenter John Inverdale are at Bramall Lane this afternoon to introduce the BUCS Championships, a five day multi-sport event with 6,000 students competing across 26 sports.
Most of the competitions are being held at a variety of Sheffield venues including tonight's women's football final between Northumbria and Leeds Met Carnegie (kick-off 7.45pm) at Bramall Lane.
The pair will be joined by Wolverhampton University graduate and Peterborough player Exodus Geohaghon at the Legends of the Lane introduction event, which will consider how university football is an important channel for the FA. Exodus will provide an insight into how he balanced playing and academic studies.
