Blades on International duty

Posted on: Wed 03 Mar 2010

Three Blades are scheduled to play for their countries on Wednesday, on what is a busy night of international football ahead of the forthcoming World Cup.

Ched Evans is expected to lead the line for Wales when they play host to Sweden at the Millennium Stadium. Reading's Simon Church is his most likely partner with Craig Bellamy absent from the squad.

Toni Kallio is in Finland's plans for their friendly in Malta, who are likely to include Justin Haber, who is currently on loan at Ferencvaros.

Goalkeeper Mihkel Aksalu has travelled with Estonia for their fixture in Georgia and seems set to play some part.

Meanwhile, former Blades midfielder Ahmed Fahti could be in the Egypt team that faces England at Wembley.
