United seem poised to bring in Middlesbrough winger Mark Yeates early next week.

The former Spurs and Colchester player who will be 25years old shortly is expected to take a medical and sign on Monday for an undisclosed fee.

Kevin Blackwell says: "The game against Middlesbrough was a classic example of wide players heavily involved in winning games.

"These days wingers have to be athletes who can get up and down the pitch and I think Mark can bring something different to what we already have at the club.
