Three Blades are Three Lions

Posted on: Fri 13 Nov 2009

Kyle Walker, along with fellow teenage talents Callum McFadzean and George Willis, have all been called up by England for forthcoming competitive matches.

Walker has been drafted into Stuart Pearce's U21 squad as a late replacement for West Ham's James Tomkins, for two 2011 UEFA European Championship qualifiers against Portugal at Wembley on Saturday and in Lithuania on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, McFadzean and Willis have retained their places in England's U16s Victory Shield squad for the winner takes all clash against Scotland on Thursday 26th November at Tynecastle.

If selected in the fixture, McFadzean will have played in all three games, whilst Willis will be hopeful of cementing his position in goal after a clean sheet on his debut against Northern Ireland.
