Blackie in contention

Kevin Blackwell has been nominated with three other contenders for Manager of the Month for March by the Football League.

The Blades boss is in contention with Owen Coyle (Burnley), Bryan Gunn (Norwich City) and Mick McCarthy (Wolves) for the vote, the result of which will be announced on Sky Sports News on Thursday at 1.20pm.

Under Kevin Blackwell's stewardship United have put together a tremendous run and during March won four and drew two of their fixtures.
