The Blades have allowed defender Adam Chapman join Blue Square Premier outfit Oxford United on loan for a month.

The 19 year old Academy graduate has played regularly at Reserve team level this season and represented Northern Ireland at U21 level.

Former Blades defender Chris Wilder recently took over at Oxford after being assistant manager at Bury, and recently watched Chapman against Sunderland Reserves. The youngster goes straight into the squad at Eastbourne tomorrow.
