Terry handed top cup role

United director Terry Robinson has been named chairman of the FA Cup committee.

"It is a privilege for Sheffield United to hold a high-ranking position at the Football Association," said Terry. "It is a personal pleasure to be chairman of the FA Cup committee and it reflects on the standing Sheffield United have in English football."

The FA Cup committee has been re-organised after Burns report and Terry is widely recognised as one of the country's top football administrators.

As well as his work with United and Ferencvaros in Hungary, Terry holds a number of positions on boards and committees, which include being a council member of the Football Association and a director of the Football League.
