Kevin Blackwell's visit to Brazil a few days ago identified a youngster with Sao Paulo who could end up playing for the Blades - eventually.

"He's a young midfielder called Leo who has played for Brazil at U17 level so we know that he is a good player."

The United boss, however, is not expected to hasten the player's possible arrival on the Bramall Lane scene, taking the more pragmatic and sensible approach that he could be one for the future after being brought along at a sensible pace:

"However, at 17 it would be wrong to put too much pressure and expectation on him at this stage and it might be that he goes over to play in Hungary with Ferencvaros first to help him develop and adapt to European football."
