Keeper returns to Worksop

Posted on: Fri 01 Feb 2008

Young goalkeeper Stephen Hernandez has rejoined local non-league outfit Worksop Town on loan for the remainder of the season.

The deal was completed late on Thursday evening and Hernandez, 18, goes straight into Worksop's squad for Saturday's Unibond League encounter with Stamford.

Hernandez has already enjoyed a successful loan spell with Worksop earlier in the season and is looking forward to returning to Sandy Lane.

He told www.sufc.co.uk: "It's another chance to play in a men's league and get games under my belt. There are some very nice people at Worksop and I enjoyed my time with them earlier in the season."
