Boss on Ross loan

Posted on: Thu 08 Nov 2007

Bryan Robson believes that Ian Ross will benefit from his spell at Rotherham United after the paperwork was completed on his loan deal on Thursday.

The Blades midfielder, 21, will remain at Millmoor until 31 December and Robson said: "This is a good opportunity for Ian to play first team football. We wish him well and will monitor his progress closely.

"Hopefully, the move will prove beneficial for all concerned."

Ross, who has had previous loan spells with Boston United and Notts County, where he played 42 times last season, joins fellow Blades loanee Jamie Annerson at Rotherham.
