Loans round-up

Posted on: Thu 25 Oct 2007

It was profitable weekend for the Blades players' on-loan across England and Scotland, with Jordan Robertson the most noticeable success.

Robertson bagged a brace as Dundee United secured an impressive 3-1 victory against Hearts at Tynecastle, who included former United striker Christian Nade.

Staying North of the Border and Evan Horwood completed 90 minutes for Gretna, as they went down 1-0 against St Mirren in an SPL relegation six-pointer.

In League Two, Ryan Cresswell - an emergency striker was the hero for Rotherham United, as the Millers came from behind to beat Morecambe 3-1 at Millmoor. Cresswell used his presence and power, to set up two of the goals.

Finally Nicky Law, on-loan at Bradford City got some praise from former Blades assistant and now City boss Stuart McCall, after completing 90 minutes for the Bantams in the 0-0 stalemate with Darlington at Valley Parade.
