Cup dates

Posted on: Tue 19 Feb 2008

Should United reach the quarter-finals of the FA Cup, the home fixture with Cardiff City will again be shown live on TV.

The winners of the Middlesbrough v Blades tie will face the Welsh Championship side on Sunday 9th March, with a 1.10pm kick-off. The game will be broadcast on the BBC.

All four quarter-finals will be shown live with the other South Yorkshire fixture, Barnsley v Chelsea, on Saturday 8th March, also on the BBC.

United, of course, have to overcome a third Premiership team to progress to the last eight. The fifth round replay with Middlesbrough will be played at the Riverside Stadium on Wednesday 27th February with an 8.05pm. That game, also, can be viewed live on the BBC.
