Summer recruits Steve Simonsen and Leon Britton will be on hand to assist fans purchasing their new flexi tickets on Thursday.

The duo will be joined by Ched Evans and Lee Williamson in the Ticket Office from 2-3pm this Thursday, 29th July.

Britton, who joined the Blades from Swansea in the summer, says that the prospect of being involved in transactions might be a bit daunting but that it is a good opportunity to meet fans face-to-face:

"We hope that helping out in the Ticket Office doesn't end up with us crashing the computer system because we are not exactly experts!

"But we will do what we can and we hope it gives the fans that extra incentive to come down and purchase their tickets for the season ahead.

"When you come from a different club it is good to try and get a feel of what the fans are like before you play in front of them, so for me personally it will be a real benefit."

Flexi Ticket Explained - How does it work? What does it cost?

The new flexi ticket membership is designed for fans who cannot commit to every game but want to guarantee a specific seat.

The flexi package includes 6 games for the price of 5. You choose your 5 games by 18th December and we'll throw in Blades v Reading for FREE.

The flexi ticket is not available to under 16s. Our Junior and Teen Blade membership schemes are on sale for juniors and include discounted tickets from just £5 per game.

Concessions are available for Over 60s, Students, 16 - Under 18 and Disabled supporters. Proof of concessionary status must be provided at the time of purchase. Please check with the Ticket office for details of what you need to provide.

When purchasing your flexi membership the Ticket Office will reserve you your chosen seat. This will be held for you until 5 days prior to a home fixture, i.e 5pm on the Monday prior to a Saturday home game and 5pm on the Thursday before a Tuesday night game. After this time your seat will be released. You will still be able to claim your ticket however an alternative seat will be issued should your seat have been sold.

When you want to attend a game simply call the Ticket Office and your flexi membership card will be activated to use at the turnstiles. No need to queue or come in to the Ticket Office.
