Posted on: Sun 01 Nov 2009

Ferencvaros manager Bobby Davison who guided the club back to the top flight of Hungarian football has left the club because of family reasons.

Davison's assistant, Craig Short, has taken over the reins at Sheffield United's sister club on a temporary basis until the winter break in the Hungarian season.

Davison, who joined Ferencvaros last year, will always be remembered by Blades fans for scoring on his debut in the 1992 derby match against Sheffield Wednesday.
