The Blades have teamed up with The Football League in a nation wide competition to find the country's best Junior Match Reporter. We are asking all budding young journalists out there to write a match review of a Sheffield United fixture this season for a chance to become Sheffield United's Official Junior Match Reporter for the 2009/10 season.

This exclusive prize is perfect for any one who's thinking about a career in media and would give you the chance to work with the staff of Sheffield United's Publicity Team during a Sheffield United Home fixture to see just how the professionals work.
In addition to this you will also receive a season ticket for you and an accompanying adult for the 2009/10 season, so that you won't miss out on the chance to review any of next seasons Blades Fixtures

But that's not all: Winning entries from all Football Clubs taking part will be judged by a dedicated National Journalist who will invite the best reporter and up to 3 family members as VIP guests at this season's Championship Play Off final where they will be asked to write a review of the fixture which will be published on the Football Leagues official website.

Pick a game
Firstly you will need to pick the match that you want to review, it can be any game at all and you can do more than one fixture, in fact you can review every game this season if you choose to do so. Just think the more reviews you write the better you will be at it and the more entries you send in the more chance there is of winning.

Write your review
Once you have picked your game it's time to make a start. We want you to describe everything that happens in the match in as much detail as possible. Don't forget to include all the important points, such as:
The Squad
Free Kicks
Penalties
Red and Yellow Cards
Corners
Goals
Throw-ins
Goal Kicks
Off Side rulings
Fouls
Substitutions
Added Extra Time

By entering this competition you agree that if you are selected by the Club as the winner we can provide your name, address and other contact details, together with a copy of your winning entry to The Football League for it to be judged against the winners from all the other clubs as part of The Football League's Official Matchday Reporter competition.
