The Blades are putting together a number of fan working groups following the appointment of Richard Batho as Supporters' Communications Manager.

These groups are already taking shape, thanks to a number of supporters kindly volunteering their time to join one of the groups.

If any supporters who have not been in touch yet would like email Richard to let him know they wish to be involved, please do at richard.batho@sufc.co.uk

The working groups are under four headings
- Retail issues looking at all aspects of Blades retail activities
- Ticketing, working with the club on all aspects of the ticketing issues
- Matchday experience
- Communications (web site/programme)

The initial aims are
- To establish forums for supporters to communicate directly with the club in a structured manner
- To help the club better understand the issues that most affect and concern our fans
- To give the club an opportunity to explain the thinking behind key decisions
- To enable fans to play a key role in helping the club achieve success off the pitch

The long term aims are
- To enhance the relationship between United and our supporters
- To help ensure fans feel their loyalty is valued by United
- To help improve United for the benefit of all supporters

If you can help, have an opinion or would like to get in touch, please feel free to email Richard at the address above.
