An eleven-year-old has won a Sheffield United season ticket for him and an adult after being named the club's junior reporter.
Jake Rodgers, from Gleadless, Sheffield, won the prize after his match report from the Blades' 3-0 Championship win over Reading was chosen as the best entry.
Along with the pair of 2010/11 season tickets, the Junior Blades member will receive a tour of the media facilities at Bramall Lane, as well as a goody bag and his name listed on the Football League website.
Andy Pack, United's media manager, was one of the judges of the competition.
He added: "Jake's style of writing, attention to detail and statistical approach impressed us greatly. The quality of the report belied his age and we advise that he attempts to continue to develop his writing skills.
"Once again, the impressive standard of all the reports we received this year pleasantly surprised United's media team and made judging difficult but Jake's entry just stood out above the rest."
Jake's report is now to be entered into The Football Leagues national competition where the winners from 72 clubs will be judged to identify the best ones from each of the three divisions.
The Football League will then invite the successful trio, along with three members of their family, to the relevant division's Play-off Final at Wembley to write a report of the day for the league's official website.
Meanwhile, Blades fans have until 4th May to renew their existing season tickets from £299 - a saving of £138 on match day prices. Free season tickets will be available to existing Under13s when purchased with an adult ticket and £10 Junior Blades membership.
Season tickets can be renewed by post, online at www.sufc.co.uk, by fax on 0871 663 2431 by phone on 0871 995 1889 or in person at the Bramall Lane ticket office.
