Daniel Bogdanovic has given his backing to the club's Fit4School programme.
The international striker from Malta launched the latest programme, which delivers health messages in the context of football, to excited pupils from St Giles Primary School of Killamarsh.
The scheme is operated by the United Initiative (U&I), the club's community programme and is open to school from across the region.
Daniel, who took time to answer pupils' questions on his lifestyle, health and fitness and his playing career, said: "The children from St Giles were really great to be with and I was really impressed by the questions they were asking."
Later, the pupils took part in a number of activities as well been taken on a tour of the Bramall Lane stadium by Blades legend Tony Currie.
The event was supported by supermarket giant Waitrose, who provided fruit for a healthy snack to encourage youngsters into eating healthy foods.
In addition, each pupil received a U&I branded lunch bag and the school was presented with a signed United shirt.
