Sheffield United have announced their 'best eleven' for the 2010/11 season.
The lucky selection includes both local and national charities which will benefit from the Blades' support during the current Championship campaign.
They include Sheffield Children's Hospital, Spinal Injuries Association, Whirlow Hall Farm, Weston Park Hospital Cancer Charity, Neurocare, St Luke's Hospice, Bluebell Wood, Cavendish Centre, Help a Child Have a Chance, Sheffield Royal Society for the Blind and Tree Top House at Sheffield Children's Hospital.
All eleven charities will be designated a game throughout the United campaign, to help raise funds and profile among supporters.
The Blades' game against Portsmouth on Saturday (Sept 18) will be the first dedicated to one of the 'first eleven' with Bluebell Wood benefiting from fundraising activities at the match, including a number of bucket collections around Bramall Lane.
Added to the United 'squad' this season is Marie Curie Cancer Care, the Football League's designated charity, Spinal Injuries Association, Sheffield Royal Society for the Blind and Tree Top House.
Tree Top supports families with sick children receiving treatment at Sheffield Children's Hospital. Since opening in 2001, Tree Top House has helped approximately 670 families every year.
Claire Payne, customer services manager at Sheffield United, said: "We have chosen eleven charities to support during the season for a number of years now and we are thrilled to continue this.
"Each year thousands of pounds are raised through the Blades and our generous supporters helping to make a real difference to worthy causes. We are committed to supporting all types of charities and by designating a game to each one, will significantly raise their profile and help to generate much needed funds."
Additional extras for the chosen charities include player attendance at events, free room hire, meals and hotel rooms at discounted rates, profile in the match day programme, signed merchandise, raffle prizes and mascot packages.
Meanwhile, St Luke's Hospice and Sheffield Sports Commentaries will both be given a designated game during the season.
United have already given their support to a local charity by helping to raise £1,140 for the Sheffield Cystic Fibrosis Appeal. A cheque to the charity was presented by Sheffield Fans Derby at Bramall Lane earlier this season.
