A young footballer has gained a unique training experience at Sheffield United.
Competition winner Jody Gilliver, 9, from Hackenthorpe, Sheffield won a week's place at the Blades' football camp at their Academy in Shirecliffe.
Jodie entered a text competition through the Academy's website and won a week's placement at one of the club's camps this summer. She chose to attend the girl's football camp last week.
All of United's summer camps are open to boys and girls aged 6-13 and have attracted huge interest with more than 100 attending already.
The camps are being staged at the Academy, United's Junior Development centre at Crookes and in Heeley.
Jodie also gained the chance to meet United's first team goal keeper Paddy Kenny at the training camp.
Jody said "I have made loads of new friends and even swapped addresses with some of them so we can stay in touch.
"I have really loved my week at the camp and its great to have other girls to play football with, I'm so glad I won the competition."
Bookings are now being taken for the summer camps which are running from 21st July to 29th August.
