A last minute own goal cost the Chengdu Blades all three points in their final home game of the CSL against Guangzhou Pharmaceutical over the weekend.

The two sides, who were both promoted last season, have secured their places in China's top flight for next year and they played out an entertaing draw in Chengdu.

The Blades made a bright start and Li Tie created the first opportunity for Rodrigues in the 8th minute, but the Brazilian striker headed over when in a good position.

Chengdu continued to force the pace and Wang Song saw his effort saved, after Yao Xia had delivered the ball into the penalty area from the right.

Four minutes after being introduced to the action, SHI JUN opened the scoring in the 74th minute, heading home a Wang Song pass.

Zhang Yuan and Wang Song both had further opportunities to make the game safe but they were denied by Li Shuai who made several other crucial saves.
