The Chengdu Blades have secured their CSL status after the goalless draw against Henan Wusi over the weekend.

A dogged and resolute defensive performance paved the way for the point which, combined with other results, was enough to preserve the Blades' top flight slot.

Wang Song could have given Chengdu the lead as early as the 5th minute, but his header was saved by the Henan goalkeeper, with Zou Yougen instrumental in the build-up.

In the second-half Wang Song and Shi Jun both had good opportunities to score, but they found Zhou Yajun in top form and he produced several other quality saves to ensure the game finished in stalemate.
