United's youngsters made it back-to-back victories for the first time this season, with a deserved 3-2 success over Huddersfield Town at the weekend.
Nathaniel Foster opened the scoring with a volley, before Kingsley Williams and Corey Gregory both got in on the act with two more well-crafted strikes.
The Blades began brightly and FOSTER put them in front as early as the 8th minute when he finished superbly after some good wing play by Pennycooke-Morgan.
Chappell and Gregory both came close to doubling the advantage before Maguire headed just wide from a Williams free-kick.
In the 25th minute, the Terriers equalised against the run of play. Williams lost possession in midfield and that led to CROOKS levelling proceedings.
After finishing the first-half on the back foot, the Blades came out of the traps quickly at the start of the second period and WILLIAMS atoned for his mistake with an unstoppable left-footed shot that nestled in the roof of the net.
Pennycooke-Morgan was playing at the top of his game and he was involved in a ten pass move that almost led to a third, only for Gregory to shoot wide.
GREGORY wasn't to be denied and he netted his first of the season with a towering back-post header from Roe's left-wing cross to put the game beyond doubt in the 85th minute.
United had to endure a few nerve moments after CROOKS got his second late on, but they comfortably held on.
Coach Kevin Fogg feels his troops are now getting the results their performances deserve and says scoring seven goals in two games has been a major positive:
"We have played with a lot of confidence recently and it is pleasing to see us picking up a few wins. The lads have worked hard throughout the season, but we are now taking our chances and that is key.
"The goals at Huddersfield were all top class strikes and I am delighted with some of the football we are playing in the attacking third."
