Youngsters set for derby

United's U18s face Yorkshire rivals Leeds United at Thorpe Arch on Saturday, kick-off 11am.

In the corresponding fixture in October, Leeds beat John Pemberton's youngsters 6-1 at Shirecliffe.

Pemberton will also be hoping his youngsters can respond positively to last week's 3-0 reversal against Sheffield Wednesday at Middlewood Road.

Positive news from the Academy this week was the inclusion in Wednesday's reserve team of Joe Ironside (who scored), Elliott Whitehouse, Danny Deakin and Adam Hinchliffe as the Blades beat Port Vale 3-0.
