The Blades are pleased to announce details of an exciting new sponsorship agreement with leading telecommunications company GCI Com.

The deal is in conjunction with city rivals the Owls and sees the GCI Com logo emblazoned on the back of both clubs' new home and away shirts.

United's Commercial Director Steve Coakley added: "It is not the first time that both of Sheffield's professional clubs have worked together to secure a mutual sponsor, we pioneered a deal with Westfield Health and the Gilder Group last year in a unique sponsorship agreement, and we are delighted we can do likewise with GCI Com."

SWFC Commercial Director Andy Daykin said: "Sheffield Wednesday have enjoyed a warm association with GCI Com for some time and this partnership is the next stage of our development with a company at the forefront of the telecommunications business."

The GCI Com group was formed in 2005. It has since grown through a number of acquisitions, each excelling in their own area of expertise to create one of the fastest growing managed telecommunication providers in the UK.
